THE KORAN AND MEIN KAMPF: TWO HOLY BOOKS

The unfortunate tragedy on September 11th was a call for American patriotism and a sense of togetherness. However, commingled with this patriotism comes religious fervor. With this zeal there is a more brazen attempt to turn America into a theocracy. Unfortunately, the way is made clear by the Christian fundamentalist in the White House, as if a theocracy is going to make America safe from those who are wanting to inflict the most damage to America and its citizens. Muslim extremists have hatred for America’s backing of Israel and because they have hatred towards Christianity. (I equate the Koran with Mein Kampf, both savage books.) Hitler wanted to destroy Jews; the Muslims want to destroy Christians and Jews. Where do they get this hatred? From the Koran.

I hear many non-Muslims in the news blaming Muslim extremists. The Koran is extreme in the hatred for those who are not Muslim. Perhaps the upper echelon of Muslims is more liberal, but the Moslem in the street takes the Koran, which is anti-Christian and anti-Jewish, as the very word of god. As I have said before, there is no way America can beat the extremists; we will live under a constant state of siege. What has been happening to Jews in Israel under constant threat of some suicide bomber who wants to go to heaven to cavort with those 70 virgins who will be waiting for him in heaven. America too will have to live under the same conditions. When and were?
